​Meet Shaun – Owner & Master Stylist

With over 43 years of experience, Shaun is the creative force behind Hatz Hair Studio. Born in Uganda and raised in Sweden, his international background has given him a rich perspective and a deep passion for the art of hair design.

 

Shaun began his career in Sweden, completing an intensive six-year program that laid the foundation for his craft. Since then, he has continuously expanded his skills through global seminars, advanced training, and industry events, ensuring his clients always benefit from the latest trends, products, and techniques.

 

Over the years, Shaun has received numerous awards and recognition for his artistry and innovative approach, while also mentoring and inspiring others in the industry. He believes in challenging himself both personally and professionally, whether through creative competitions, charity work, or helping newcomers grow in their careers.

 

Shaun’s commitment to community runs deep. For the past 37 years, he has proudly volunteered every Monday at the Margaret Fulton Adult Day Center, where he established and donated a salon. There, he continues to cut, color, and style hair for Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients—bringing dignity, care, and compassion to those who need it most.

 

Shaun blends his passion for sustainable beauty, artistry, and community service, creating a salon experience that is as meaningful as it is stylish.
